Do any of you buy into the whole Global Warming hype? I personally think that we are seeing patterns that we've never seen before just because we've only been keeping accurate temperature records for a little over 100 years. I have Popular Mechanics books from the 60's that say just the opposite. Back then we were supposed to be getting colder. I just don't buy it myself.

Anyone with half of a brain knows that it is hype. However, it is too funny to watch Al Gore jet around and llie about it. After all, he is a Nobel laureate, so he must be right, no?

Personally I think it is arrogant of humans to think we can effect the climate of the world by what we do here. It is political hype at best and outright lies at the worst. Just as many scientists that believe global warming is a natural occurance as there are from the other side. Thing is the media will not show their side so the masses swallow the propaganda hook, line and sinker.

The pollution from the millions of planes boats aircraft and cars, not including power plants, carpet mills and all the unregulated factories over seas is real and the pollution is real. The whole idea of the ice caps melting is a joke.

Global warming is just a tool being used by the left and the UN to push for stricter regulations on the U.S and make us apologize and make payments to all the third world countries for polluting their countries as well. Its global distribution of wealth and socialism at its finest, and our leaders are loving every minute of it.
