can anyone tell me who makes this? The only thing on the little shotgun is an SN on the bottom of the pistol grip. I've seen some in 22LR too

Hey, 19Kilo, what you've got is commonly called a Bronco. It was also made in a .22rf over .410, and I believe, as .22rf only. If you look for it in the gun guides I think they're listed as Garcia Bronco. I'm told they were made in the US and marketed by F.I.. I had an unmarked 410 identical to yours but since it was NOT .22rf I put it through a local auction along with 30 other guns which no longer fit my single-shot collecting parameters.

They're a neat little "survival" type scattergun.

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness." ---unknown

Thanks for the info FL fan! I've had this one for years. I know it's not worth much, but it was the first gun I bought for myself with my own money so I guess I'll keep it for a while, my son can do what ever he wants with it one day.

Old guns that become family heirlooms don't have to be worth much $$$ in order to be worth a LOT...

Since I last posted, I've learned a bit more about this family of guns. Your GARCIA BRONCO came about when the fishing tackle folks bought out FIC, but continued to use the name Bronco, which originated with FIC.

When Garcia eventually tossed in the towel, after making several variations of this little "skeleton" rifle, another company in Michigan took their kick at the cat, and called their little rifle the BAUER RABBIT. (Before we had TWINS then we had TRIPLETS ! ! !)

In some online forums it's been rumored that these little rifles were made in Italy. NOT SO! All were made in the good 'ole US&A. Even the boxes they came in stated "MADE IN THE USA."

If you'd like to see where FIC got the design ideas, check out the old Hamilton Rifle Company ads for their Model 7 and Model 11. Only difference was that the Mdl. 11 had a chunk of wood inside the wire stock!

I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not sure.
