I just called about a Winchester for sale. The gentleman bought it in 1946. He said he had just sold it to a friend of his and it was gone. The asking price was $400 OBO. Guess what it was? I ran the serial number that he gave me. It was a Winchester Model of 1894 manufactured in 1899!!! Can you flippin' believe that? I've been sitting here moaning Oh My Gosh! Oh My Gosh! So close but yet so far away now. What a tease! If only I had called earlier! Dangit man!:bang::bang:
