I've sold some from time to time, but usually just make them for the fun of it and for gifts!

I'll do that TBurnham...I really need to clear out a ton of junk out of my garage so I can get myself set up with the lathe in the garage again. Right now it's all being stored down in the basement unused at this time. But yeah, I just found a reliable source for some nice furniture grade wood. Received a boat load of American Black Walnut the other week. Who knows what I'll have waiting for me the next time he calls me.

Now THAT sounds great......Youhave got to love American Black Walnut!! Hard on us hand carvers but I still love it. Wish I could find some more big enough for gun stocks at a good price!!

Those are some beautiful pens, I have never tried to turn a pen but it looks like fun.

TBurnham, try Peach State Lumber in Kennesaw, they have just about any kind of lumber you will want. I used them before I retired and when I needed good lumber.
